Hello and welcome to Abi Tails pet services. I would like to welcome you to my website and tell you a bit about my business.
I have been running Abi Tails for just over a year now, (alongside my other business: Abi K music) and have finally decided to take the plunge and launch my own website. I started Abi Tails whilst living in Kings Heath, due to welcoming my beautiful RottiCorso, Xena, into my life. She requires a lot of exercise and I have been surrounded with a wonderful collection of dogs, horses, cats and small animals throughout my childhood and adult life and have always enjoyed spending as much time as possible with all manner of creatures whenever and wherever possible. So I thought I may as well have my cake and eat in, whilst socialising Xena.
Last April, Xena and I moved into a house with my partner Dave in the Selly Oak area. Meaning that I have access to different parks, routes, etc. My favourite haunts are Manor Farm Park, Ley Hill Park, and Waseley Country Park. Although, we do explore Lickey Hills, Clent and Kinver Edge regularly.
Not only are we in a different area now, but we have another addition to the family. Last November we adopted a Rottweiler puppy called Nel. She is approximately 10 months old and is a joy to live with. Now that she is nearly 100% healthy (she was in a very bad way when she she came to us) she is very cheeky and full of beans. She definitely keeps us on our toes.
Like I said in the ‘about’ section, both of my girls (shown in the photo below) are dog friendly and Xena is also horse friendly; Nel isn’t sure yet. Whenever I can (when my schedule allows it) I introduce all of the dogs in my care to my girls; for their benefit as well as mine. I believe that is crucial to socialise dogs with as many dogs as possible, in a safe and positive environment.
The Abi Tails pack is continuously growing. Due to this we have a mixture of characters. So Xena, Nel and I never get bored. I look forward to every day of working with the animals in my care; especially now that the mornings are getting lighter and the days are getting longer!
